Good work on the plot this week guys! We will set course for UNITY and arrive with in the week where you will be free to wander for a two week R&R. Although, don't expect much of a vacation when we arrive. I have a feeling there will be a surprise or two for us.

Well the plot is wrapped up and we're heading back to Unity for some R&R and interesting times.
Awards and promotions are going to be handed out soon, so remember to nominate your fellow officer before the closing date for nominations on Tuesday. Just a note concerning promotions... promotions are evaluated based not only on how regularly you log or the quality of your logs, but also on whether your character (in the IC arena) is competent in your job. So if you log 5 times a week but your character keeps messing up, you'll stay an Ensign for quite some time :P Keep that in mind!

Narendra Mission - So you've crashed into the starbase and blown your covers. Now how are you going to complete your mission and escape?
Tarangor Mission - Get that shipyard back to UNITY. And why was the outpost rigged to explode? Who rigged it to do so? Who ahs been using the communications system? I smell a rat!
Lernen's Assassination - Why did the Klingon Aide do it? How is the examination of Harbright's body going? Who is the new Intelligence Advisor?
Rowan situation - Get a team down planetside to investigate the illness of Rowan's mama.
LAST WEEK:

Wrap up loose ends of the mission.
Security - We have Romulan prisoners aboard. Set up their accomodations in the brig. By the way, how did that away team mission go? Natalia will be supervising.
Operations - I'll leave you in charge of the analysis of the debris from Outpost 0071. Submit the report to Rojac when completed.
Tactical - You'll be in charge of destroying all remnants of the outpost with the phasers once the investigation is complete.
Engineering - We had some environmental systems go down on a few decks. Please fix them. Plus, a few of our fighters got bruised up.
Medical - How are the crew patch-ups coming?
Fighters - Debrief. What about that new Romulan fighter we encountered? Are they emulating Erassian Fighter technology?
D'Artagan - Patrol and secure the area.

Gustav used his authority as ACEO to override safety
protocols and increase the speed of the transporters.
On SB Unity, Shane prepared to receive a guest..Admiral
LeGrand..who turned out to be singularly unimpressed with
Shanes forces and told him so at the first opportunity.It
soon became clear that the Admiral planned to take over the
running of everything.Shane artfully pointed out that the
Admiral didnt have clearance for knowledge of classified
missions, thinking that Kira would not authorize it either
but suggested a compromise of the Admiral commanding alpha
and beta fronts. LaGrand agreed.
Rick wondered what he should do with his knowledge that Capt
Richards was in reality Trevor Wright. Jo tried to find out
what was worrying him but Rick told her nothing.
Chisulo and Faulkner, in the cargo hold of Narendra station
were guided by Kortag'h to the computer core, passing stocks
of low grade Duranium on the way.They began to down load
information before having to beat a hasty retreat.
Athena, stuck in a lift, received news from Dexter that it
would explode at any moment. She managed to free herself
seconds before a fireball engulfed it.
Rangi completed a report concerning the four dead crew
members but was happy at the thought of her orders to return
to Unity. She had a name in mind for the new CMO but was
surprised at a message from T'Vel.
Jade went to oversee the scanning of debris beamed into
cargo bay 3 and later took the results to Lt.Cmdr.
Ra-Zerphimi for his opinion. The debris showed that the
Romulans had developed more powerful, yet unstable,
technology.
Rojac informed Vlimar about the events at the outpost and
requested reinforcements to cover the gap in the sensor
field.Vlimar agreed.He then met Natalia in the Brig where
the Romulan prisoners were being held. Rojac asked for an
interrogator to be called and then told Natalia to check on
the survey of the debris.Later Rojac went to sickbay to
discuss Rangis views of moral there and to ask if she had
anyone in mind for the CMO position. Rangi suggested
Alexander Rice.
Despite Alectos promise of a 'cavalry', Chisulo had no time
to wait and began his 'plan B' which involved crashing the
runabout into the conference room of the Klingon station
where the force fields sealed it safely inside.
Pakosii tactfully pointed out to Shane that he had been
'losing the plot' by sending orders to Vlimar under the name
of DuPont. Shane put it down to working late!...( excuses,
excuses :) )...and said he would apologise to the
colonel..(.if he remembers the name? )
Vlimar, not impressed by the Admiral taking command of two
fronts, passed on the orders to all ships concerned.
Bren was getting edgy waiting for the Qashqai and Jameson to
return. He and Telson had discovered an active comm beacon
and were keen to know who had been using it. As soon as the
Detector was towed to the shipyard, Rick met Bren and told
him he had found the 'Technology Inhibitor' on the ship.
Bren had heard of it but the surprise was swiftly followed
by a second one when Captain Richards revealed his true
identity.
On board SB UNity, T'Vel was informed that some drugs were
missing from a storage unit in pharmacology and their
disappearence could not be explained.
Pazla discovered a source of energy on the station and was
beamed back to the Rapier moments before an explosion
knocked out its shields but did no structural damage.
Rojac was working late but spent time talking to Jade who
had brought a report about the debris.
Although victorious, Anya was displeased with the armaments
of the Lancers and Shadows and knew she had to look at the
developement of fighter weapons.

Logging:
The weekly logging deadline is at Midnight (12:00AM/00:00) GMT/UTC (19:00 EST); all logs received after the deadline will be counted for the following week. If you are pressed for time and would like a log to count for the previous week, but it is sent after the deadline, please send an email to the command team when you send the log so that we can make the corrections.
Please remember that all MAJOR plot changes need to be cleared with the command staff before a log goes through! You can do this by sending the command staff (chimera-command@ucip.org ) a log labeled with "Draft" tagged to the subject line. We'll typically let you know if it's approved within 24 to 48 hours, or tell you what might need to be modified before it's sent to the listserv.
When using other characters in your logs, please keep in mind that person's characteristics. Character information can be found on the UCIP website or the USS Chimera website (under CREW - just click on the Star Trek symbol next to the character's name). If you're still unsure how to interact with a character, then privately mail the person
involved, and I'm sure they'll be willing to help.
