=/\= USS Chimera - C - Mimi's and Gustav's Quarters =/\=
After his meeting with Rojac, Gustav was busy in Mimi's and his new
quarters trying to get everything right for when Mimi first sees them,
they were bigger than normal quarters as they were to accommodate at
least two.
He was busy placing the last couple of cushions on the sofa {I'm not
sure why I'm bothering with this Mimi will just move this when she
gets here} he thought while smiling to himself, Gustav jumped a little
when the door chimed but not to much.
"Enter" he called while straitening his tunic.
Mimi rushed in, "You wanted to see me?" She'd been trying to finish
up a couple of last minute evaluations and help Commander Wellington
to get the department ready. She didn't even look around; just gave a
bright smile at seeing Gustav.
"Just needed you for a few things, namely to see if you liked the new
quarters, I've just been given a full promotion and if you wanted to
see an old movie in the holodeck with me later" Gustav said smiling
back at Mimi.
Finally taking her eyes off the one thing she had been looking at; she
turned a slow circle taking in the room in which she was standing.
"This ... is ours? Its ..... so big."
"Yup it's ours and it's not as big as some but it is fairly
large…..take a look around" Gustav said happy she was pleased.
Grabbing his hand as she walked by to enter the adjoining room, she
asked, "Since when is interior design part of the engineering
curriculum?"
"It isn't normally but I wanted it ready for when we moved in….even
though I know you'll move things around" he said in almost a joking
manner.
She dropped his hand and did another slow circle taking in the bedroom
this time.
"So what do you think so far" Gustav asked genuinely wanting to know
what she thought of his efforts.
Her circle ended with her facing him and she stood up on her toes
pressing a kiss against his lips and then said, "Its perfect."
After kissing her back Gustav asked "and about the holodeck?"
"We could do that ...What movie were you thinking about," she asked
and continued, "What about dinner?"
"I was going to let you choose….I wanted to go out for a nice meal to
celebrate my promotion but I've just so much on my plate at the moment
I just wouldn't be able to manage it".
Mimi walked toward the bed thinking to herself. She decided to test
the mattress as she responded, "I see," and jumped; bouncing a bit on
the new bed. "Comfy.."
Gustav raised an eyebrow at Mimi and while chuckling a little asked
"what are you doing".
"Just testing..."
Sitting down next to Mimi he looked into her eyes and stroked her hair
while saying "you know we don't need to go out, we could just stay in
tonight and have an intimate meal here".
She bounced up on her knees, "Could we?" Excitement glowed in her
eyes as the last idea appealed more and more to her.
"Of course" Gustav said seeing her excitement.
With his agreement; she ended up in his arms and gave him a kiss.
However, the sudden movement sent them off the edge of the bed and
onto the floor.
"Ouch" Gustav said rubbing the back of his head after coming off the
bed, he tried to make sure he was under Mimi to stop his weight
hurting her when they hit the floor.
"Warn me the next time you do that please" he said smiling.
"I'll try," she said kissing him again.
Gustav kissed Mimi back then got himself up from the floor saying
"I'll go and get some good wine from the station, some nice food and
some candles, I'll be back in an hour or so ok".
Mimi smiled and nodded her agreement as the gears in her head began to spin.
