= USS Rapier - Bridge =
A warp signature was detected by Unity's outlying sensors at the edge
of the system shortly before a cloaked vessel showed up on the tachyon
grid. A few moments later the Saber class USS Rapier decloaked and
made her way towards Starbase Unity where she would stay docked until
minor internal reconfigurations were conducted and she was recrewed.
Pazla looked through the viewscreen at the shape of Unity and was glad
to finally be back at Unity after the long mission at the Neutral
Zone. The starbase seemed to get busier everytime they returned and
there were always some new developments happening. She had almost
hoped to see the new Chimera already at the starbase, but suspected
she was probably a bit too optimistic in that the ship would be
completed so soon.
"Open a channel to the starbase," she said to the tactical officer
seated at his station to the far right.
"Channel open," he responded.
"Starbase Unity, this is Lieutenant Dacour of the USS Rapier
requesting permission to dock," Pazla spoke.
"Acknowledged Rapier, this is Unity. You are clear to dock at Pylon
3," came the quick response.
"Thank you Unity, Rapier out," Pazla said as she closed the channel
from the armrest panel.
"Initiating docking procedures," the helm officer said as the
autopilot took over the maneuvering of the ship.
"Bridge to Commander Trzetrzelewska," Pazla said as she tapped her
commbadge. The commander was in the ready room busy writing her report
about the mission and had asked not to be disturbed until they were at
the station. "We're now docking at Unity."
"Thank you, Pazla," came Natalia's reply after a moment. "Please
inform the crew."
