Gustav materialized with Cmdr Trzetrzelewska and the rest of the away
team to a grim site, the air thick with smoke and god knows what other
toxic vapours.

Almost as soon as he arrived Gustav was given his orders from the
Commander "Kroitzer, life support is your first priority, then try to
get shields up".

"Aye Ma'am" was all the young engineers said as he headed to the
Rapiers engineering decks.

As he made his way to engineering Kroitzer passed a number of bodies
either passed out or worse on the floor, unfortunately he couldn't
stop and help as he know that the best way to help any survivors was
to get the ships power and life support restored.

Arriving outside main engineering Gustav had to pry the doors open to
get, what he saw could only be described as hell in space, nearly all
consoles were blow, bulkheads fallen and the same rancid smoke in the
air as in the rest of the ship.

The first thing Gustav done was to stop one of the Rapiers engineers,
his uniform black and with no sign of rank visible "where is your CEO"
without saying a the engineer pointed to a body laying at a blow
console.

Still talking to the shaken engineer "What's your name"

"H.. Hendley, L.. Lieutenant Christopher Hendley" the engineer replied

Although Higher ranked than Gustav he decided to take charge, "Ok Lt,
I'm the Chimeras CEO, I'm here to help, I need you to gather all able
bodied engineers here", when the Lt Hendley didn't move he said
sternly "Now Lt".

After a few seconds Kroitzer had about 6 engineers in front of him
ignoring any form of real introduction he started "Right first thing
is to get emergency power back up, then restore life support, you,
you, you and you work on life support the rest come with me to restore
power".

After only a few minutes Gustav's small team of engineers managed to
get emergency power up and running almost as soon as the lights came
on the Commander contacted him.

"Kroitzer, was that you?"

"Yes, Commander," the engineer replied. "Emergency power is on and
we're working on life support now."

"Keep me informed. Trzetrzelewska out," was the last she said to him.

With all the engineers working on the life support it was less than an
hour before life support was up and running, at least in some parts of
the ship, he had started on the warp drive when Trzetrzelewska
contacted Gustav again.
"Kroitzer, how long until we can have warp?" she asked.

"That's difficult to say, Commander," came the reply. "The Rapier's
got one nacelle, which can give us Warp 2 at best, but without shields
the outer hull will apart."

Before Gustav could do anymore he was showered in blue and was looking
at the transporter operator on the Magellan.
