=/\= Transporter Room 1 =/\=
Roquette looked around at the rest of the security team. {I wonder what they're thinking. Are they scared ... excited?} She took a couple of even calming breaths to keep herself from bouncing in place with her excitement and from pacing with the thread of fear that seemed to be running through her system.
First Lieutenant Johann Fosters walked into the transporter room and looked at his team that was prepping to storm one of the Breen freighters. He saw one of the younger members looking around nervously and walked up and slapped her on the back. "Relax kid, it ain't gonna be so bad."
Roquette smiled, "Aye, Aye, Sir." It seemed like it was only a moment or two later when they were engulfed by a blurry blue field. Rockie murmured, "Here we go?"
They emerged at a T junction and Johann split his six man team into pairs and sent them down the individual corridors. "Okay Rookie your with me, we're going to check out the cargo bay."
Roquette stood with her phaser rifle in a ready position and nodded as she fell into place.
"So what rookie, is this your first away mission?" Johann asked as they moved cautiously towards the cargo bay.
"Yes, Sir," she whispered. The magnetic sound of a door sealing had her jumping fortunately she had more control than she thought for her gun didn't go off too.
"Just relax kid and keep your eyes open, that's all I can ask of you." Johann motioned for silence as they slipped into the main cargo bay. Silently they moved along the upper catwalk and down the stairs to the bottom.
She took a calming breath as she nodded her response. Her steps were sure footed but light and quiet. She heard the steps creek under the Lieutenant's weight ever so slightly as they descended the stairs from the catwalk. At the bottom she moved to the opposite side of the steps and scanned the room.
Johann sidled up to one of the Breen storage crates and cracked it open. After the rush of air into the container the cold air that seeped out surprised him. Inside it looked like a torpedo or a warhead and Johann could only think of one type of warhead that you would keep refrigerated and under negative air pressure. "Bio-Weapons" He muttered as if disgusted by their existence.
Roquette went tense from the top of her head to the tips of her toes at the lieutenant's words. In another heart beat she willed herself to relax. She scanned the room again and taking the weight of the rifle into one hand; she reached into her pocket and pulled out a couple of thick face masks. She held the surgical type masks out toward him in question.

"They'll be about as useful as a burst condom...no friggin use whatsoever. Modern day BioChem-Weapons can be absorbed through the skin and I'll bet you these'll be some nasty buggers. I s'pose that it's probably a good thing we found these things here in the Alliance. Don't think the Federations had one of these dropped on 'em since before World War Three when the Ruskies launched Sarin into Chechnya." Johann said not taking his eyes from the warhead.
She swallowed hard but nodded as she thrust the masks back in a pocket and scanned the room again. Feeling something just out of visual range to her right, Roquette moved that direction and peered into the shadows at the edge of the cavernous room.

Johann moved to support giving hand signals to coordinate their movements to surround the target. They moved fluidly towards the target, the rubber soled boots making little noise on the metal grid floor of the freighter. They edged to the end of a large cargo container and Johann signalled a halt and then began a countdown. Upon zero they simultaneusly moved and brought their machine phasers to bear upon the source of the target noise. Johann snapped on the torch on his rifle illuminating a sight which filled him with horror. A young human girl probably no more than six years old stood unsteadily leaning against a cargo container taking short, shallow breaths. Her skin was flushed an aggravated red and black lines swept like veins beneath her skin. She panted a single word in a voice usually reserved for those in the advanced stages of lung cancer "Help".
Johann pressed his hand to his comm badge "Fosters to Chimera. We got a problem..."
