minimum although much of the blame with that lies with myself and my
poor internet connection which has left me unable to get online 5 out
of 7 days this week. I'm still having connection problems so I can
only apologize if I'm causing delays (hence the sim report) and I do
feel bad about it. As always there is some real quality logs been put
in which deserve credit. To motivate an acceleration in the plot I'm
setting the target of completing Charlie Groups part of the mission
within the next two weeks...ok Chimerans lets give it all we've got!

The young Captain was teasing about the surrender thing, and instead staged a successful Picard Maneuver that left the Falcore as charred floating debris before jetting off into the stellar nursery once more - but not before the port impulse engine caught on fire. Major Cortez and the rest of the demolition team snuck through the peculiar station toward their target, but not without the experieced leader felling a little doubt in his upset tummy. The Eagle watched the Chimera's progress from stealthed safety - at least until they were caught on visual scanners and necrotized by a thalaron beam. Lieutenants Vaughn and Jones ran a flawwless operations department during a full fledged ship-wide crisi situation. The Rapier finally caught up with that Klinogn patrol, but not before finding a suspicious group of Romulan thalaron cruisers.

Shane reviewed the details of the investigation into the terrorists attack and had good news at last.Captain Trent was convinced a company based on Unity was a cover and had contacted the JAG department.
Rangi was making celebration preparations for Shane and herself when the housekeeper entered the quarters obviously surprised to see anyone at home. Seconds later a man materialised and pressed a knife to the womans throat.
George Pucker was present when Shane arrived in sickbay to check on Lieutenant Mumacik. Although he was recovering, he had an extremely short term memory loss.
Rick had better news when he checked progress for on the whole, things were going well.

- Logging Guidelines

Logging:
The weekly logging deadline is at Midnight (12:00AM/00:00) GMT/UTC (19:00 EST); all logs received after the deadline will be counted for the following week. If you are pressed for time and would like a log to count for the previous week, but it is sent after the deadline, please send an email to the command team when you send the log so that we can make the corrections.
Please remember that all MAJOR plot changes need to be cleared with the command staff before a log goes through! You can do this by sending the command staff (chimera-command@ucip.org ) a log labeled with "Draft" tagged to the subject line. We'll typically let you know if it's approved within 24 to 48 hours, or tell you what might need to be modified before it's sent to the listserv.
When using other characters in your logs, please keep in mind that person's characteristics. Character information can be found on the UCIP website or the USS Chimera website (under CREW - just click on the Star Trek symbol next to the character's name). If you're still unsure how to interact with a character, then privately mail the person
involved, and I'm sure they'll be willing to help.
Conversely, if you feel that your character is being portrayed incorrectly by someone please contact them to try to work out an agreeable solution. Just keep in mind when logging to treat other characters the way you'd like them to treat you - with the respect due to any member of Starfleet who is a specialist in their field.
If you think your log may be going out of bounds, then please ask! If you are having problems finding things to write about or would just like some help with your log, please contact your department head or the command team. Remember, you don't always have to log about things relating to the main plot - logs that develop your character's
personality are encouraged! We're eager to help if you're having trouble; just email the command team (chimera-command@ucip.org).

New Cadets are given two (2) weeks upon joining to observe the sim. After the initial observation period, Cadets and other crew are required to post at least one log per week (unless on excused or on LOA).
Promotion is based upon quality and regularity of logging, among other
factors All promotions after Lieutenant Commander require review and
approval by Starfleet Command. For a complete breakdown of the promotion policy, please visit the Chimera's website.
