Average logs per Week: 29.75
Chimerans!First off: laurels to Aza for coming up with the after party log. I think I sense a new tradition.Second off: Good week. I know there's not a lot of logs, but there's no plot to progress so I guess that's okay. For now anyways.I'm going to try and present some awards and stuff this week, however please be forgiving if I do not manage to do so. Unity - Rangi
Richard was keen to leave the hospital but Rangi would have none of it and gave him a small lecture on caring for himself more than he had been doing.
Reports came that the three crewmen exhibiting symptoms the same as those as the Breen hostages, were in fact returned to good health. Rangi had no reason to keep them under quarentine for longer and issued an order that they be released from sickbay to recuperate in their quarters.Despite the reports, Rangi was ill at ease.
Shane, Trent and Cropa met to discuss recent events and what might happen next. Shane explained that he thought Starfleet Command would resort to using weapons of mass destruction and outlined the TechEx capabilities. Rojac understood the Presidents reasoning and said that although it was distasteful, it was the lesser of two evils.Shane was not so sure and posed a question to Cropa that made him question his actions.
He thought about it alot in the Bluenote bar later and decided that his initial responce was the only viable way to end the war. Rayna found him in the bar and told him he needed to relax. They made plans to go to Aeran for a few days.
Gustav met Lara Proietti at the shipyards and was pleased at her expectation to have Chimera repaired within a week.
A party was developing in the Excalibur bar led by Anya and under the watchful and as yet unnoticed eye of Castillo. A hush fell when Captain Rojac entered but he ordered drinks all round which won him instant approval :)Chimera - IxusJade is welcomed back aboard Chimera to resume her position as Chief of Operations by Rojac to the pleasant surprise that her subordinate acting for her has bagged himself a promotion...time to start watching her back? Mike has a contemplative drink with his Deputy before retiring for a sonic shower and bed...CTAC's know how to party!-------------------------

- Logging Guidelines

Logging:
The weekly logging deadline is at Midnight (12:00AM/00:00) GMT/UTC (19:00 EST); all logs received after the deadline will be counted for the following week. If you are pressed for time and would like a log to count for the previous week, but it is sent after the deadline, please send an email to the command team when you send the log so that we can make the corrections.
Please remember that all MAJOR plot changes need to be cleared with the command staff before a log goes through! You can do this by sending the command staff (chimera-command@ucip.org ) a log labeled with "Draft" tagged to the subject line. We'll typically let you know if it's approved within 24 to 48 hours, or tell you what might need to be modified before it's sent to the listserv.
When using other characters in your logs, please keep in mind that person's characteristics. Character information can be found on the UCIP website or the USS Chimera website (under CREW - just click on the Star Trek symbol next to the character's name). If you're still unsure how to interact with a character, then privately mail the person
involved, and I'm sure they'll be willing to help.
Conversely, if you feel that your character is being portrayed incorrectly by someone please contact them to try to work out an agreeable solution. Just keep in mind when logging to treat other characters the way you'd like them to treat you - with the respect due to any member of Starfleet who is a specialist in their field.
If you think your log may be going out of bounds, then please ask! If you are having problems finding things to write about or would just like some help with your log, please contact your department head or the command team. Remember, you don't always have to log about things relating to the main plot - logs that develop your character's
personality are encouraged! We're eager to help if you're having trouble; just email the command team (chimera-command@ucip.org).

New Cadets are given two (2) weeks upon joining to observe the sim. After the initial observation period, Cadets and other crew are required to post at least one log per week (unless on excused or on LOA).
Promotion is based upon quality and regularity of logging, among other
factors All promotions after Lieutenant Commander require review and
approval by Starfleet Command. For a complete breakdown of the promotion policy, please visit the Chimera's website.
