[USS Chimera] SD 240907.04 || JL || Capt Rojac (CO) & Lt Kroitzer (CEO) ||

[Main Engineering - Deck 16 - USS Chimera NCC 96899-C]

Captain Rojac entered the large cavernous room filled with the
pulsating resonance of the Chimera's Warp Core. His sharp gaze quickly
found the blonde hair of the man he was looking for, newly promoted
Lieutenant Gustav Kroitzer. He pulled down on the red shirt he was
wearing and walked across the hall toward the CEO, officers and
technicians alike, cleared his path as he saw them approach. The
Captain was not in full uniform (he didn't even have the pips on his
collar), but the obvious anger in his aura was enough to intimidate
the crewmen into getting out of his way- whether they recognized him
or not.

"Mr. Kroitzer," he shouted once he was less than five meters away, "report."

Gustav had just finished drinking his tea when the Captain entered
engineering and yelled his name.

Exiting his office Kroitzer started explaining "Sir, everything is now
under control and there is no danger to the ship or the station".

"My team and I were finishing the last of the missiles that Major
Xerxes had me design for her when one of my officers ruptured the
antimatter containment vessel, when this happened I removed the
container and had it beamed as far away from us as possible" Gustav
stopped there knowing that he was just going over what the Captain
probably already knew.

Rojac glanced around Main Engineering to the hurried bodies running to
and fro working to get everything back under control. They all seemed
to be avoiding eye contact with the young, angry Captain. "And what of
the careless technician? Where is he or she?"

"I have put him on 3 weeks suspension I was also going to put a
reprimand on his permanent record…. I have him rereading some
engineering basics as well" the young engineer explained, adding "I
don't want anyone blowing up my ship".

"That is not enough." Rojac replied, matter-of-factly.

"Unfortunately that's about all I'm able to do Sir, short of spacing
him" Gustav replied knowing what the Captain said was true even though
he was the CEO Gustav could only mildly discipline Ensign Krebore.

"This crewman shall not get away with a homework assignment and a slap
on the wrist, Lieutenant. He endangered the lives of tens and thousands
of civilian and Starfleet lives." Rojac answered. "I want you to
forward his crew record to my office as soon as possible. I am
removing his Special Forces designation, and transferring him to
regular Starfleet. There is no place is the SSF for ignorant
carelessness."

"Aye sir, will do, although I do think that removal from SSF is a
little harsh. I don't want him this ship anymore but couldn't you
transfer him to a starbase where it is nice and safe… far away from
anything that might explode." Gustav said hoping that the Captain
might listen to his recommendation.

Cropa made eyecontact with his CEO and squinted slightly. "I will take your reservations into account, Lieutenant. But I doubt any CO in the SSF would accept his transfer with a warp core breach on his record." The Captain turned to leave, and looked over his shoulder. "I want his record on my desk in one hour."
