[Bridge - Deck One - USS Chimera NCC 96899-C]
Rayna Dior held the Chimera at a direct course toward the Romulan Transdimensional gate at full stop. Between the gate and the ship was the gargantuan EAS Samson - as the vessels commanding officer had reported it - and they were forced to take his word for it.
Sensors were having trouble taking readings from the vessel's intricate hull composition - and Science couldn't find an EAS Samson anywhere in the database. Dior hadn't really expected them to however - it had come from an alternate dimension.
Major Walters had left the bridge to meet Captain Rojac in the main shuttle bay where the Serpent was landing with her cargo. Commander Levison was left in charge to land Major Xerxes and her squadron and begin after action recovery operations from the bridge. The CO and XO were going to be busy meeting with the new Ivanov that had shown up on the scene. A medical team had been sent to collect the injured marines and transport them to sickbay.
On a personal level, Rayna was glad that Cropa had landed safely. She had been able to remain focused during the battle - but she worried about her love's safety constantly in the back of her mind. She knew it was foolish, Cropa had partaken in many more dangerous operations in his time as a Starfleet officer, but then again: love is hardly logical.
The port impulse drive was still down, and it didn't look like Engineering was going to be able to get it up and running. The Romulan disruptors and torpedoes had apparently disintegrated too many integral components - the Chimera's failsafe systems were the only thing that prevented the reactors from going critical and destroying much of the ship.
Thank goodness impulse engines wouldn't prevent the Chimera from getting back to UNITY. After this mission, Dior was looking very forward to a few weeks R&R.
