====== VIP quarters area, VIP quarters 6, SB
234: UNITY ======
Mumacik was standing quiet, hiding behind the corner waiting
for his team to take positions. He had a full ODA team
present, six man and woman … all clad in light combat
armor. Usually, such an action would be performed by regular
security teams, but as Chief of Fleet level Security,
Mumacik decided that ODA teams need occasionally another
type of training then holodeck drills.
Expecting his team to need another 5 seconds to deploy,
Mumacik thought back about this assignment. Gamma (night)
shift operations registered unauthorized access to a VIP
quarters. Badge identification indicated two Starfleet
officers inside, Lieutenant Clara Lloyd, UNITY's promenade
quartermaster assistant officer and Marine Captain Channer
Davis, who was waiting for his assignment on the USS
Chimera.
Early in the morning, Mumacik was reviewing security and
operations logs from previous day like usual and this event
drew his attention. VIP quarters were a high security area
and such an accident should be at least checked – Mumacik
thought and contacted UNITY operations (alpha shift) and
asked about the status of the particular VIP quarters. Ops
officer in charge there stated that both officers seem still
to be inside and made a hint "maybe it's better not to
disturb them", but Mumacik dismissed the thought
immediately. Why not disturbing when both officers were not
supposed to be in that quarters and as a matter-of-fact were
violating the security protocol for UNITY's VIP area. Due
to the recent security problems on the station, Mumacik was
quite suspicious about every (no matter how small)
accidents. This could be a case for security if there were
NO Starfleet officers inside the quarters, but rather some
terrorists …
All six ODA members were finally in their positions and
their leader, Gunnery Sergeant Black looked back at Mumacik
waiting for his command. Their task was easy … forcing the
quarter's door open via some high tech device, storming
the quarters, secure those rooms and identifying intruders.
What will happen then was not decided yet …
Mumacik nodded with his hand and pointed his type IIIb
phaser rifle on the door in case the ODA team would
encounter armed resistance.
The open-the-door device was quickly planted and activated.
The door opened with a quiet his and first two ODA members
entered the room. Securing the entrance area, they stayed
behind and two other ODA guys went inside. All this happened
within 2 seconds and in absolute silence.
As no resistance was met yet, Mumacik run towards the
quarters door as well, entering the quarters immediately. A
kneeling ODA comm. specialist, holding a tricoder was
pointing towards the bedroom. Sergeant gave the command and
two ODA guys jumped into the room … with Mumacik just
behind them.
A young woman (Sparsely clad) was laying on the bed,
obviously just awoken … or in state of a day dream. Her
eyes widened seeing armed soldiers storming the room, but
the shock sealed her mouth … she gave no sound.
The Comm specialist whispered: "The other just left,
he's approximately 200 meters along the corridor to the
right".
The sergeant gave command and four ODA members immediately
run out of the room, taking direction right – along the
corridor. The Sergeant ran after them.
Mumacik looked at the woman, unaffected by her physical
attributes. "Lieutenant Lloyd, please explain your
presence in this room" he said.
