There were four individuals seated around one end of the elongated table in the the Titan's main observation lounge. Klingon Lieutenant Korgath representing Fox Company sat at the aft-side of the head of the table; the Klingon male had been a member of Easy Company before promoting up and taking command of Fox. Captain zh'Thania of Charlie Company sat across from him at the interior of the room; she had been transferred in to Second Battalion from an exterior unit. Beside her sat Captain S'Valak, the Vulcan commander of Dog Company.
That only left Captain Spiers, the only human of the company commanders, who sat next to Korgath facing towards the interior of the Galaxy-class vessel. The meeting had been called half an hour beforehand, and the commanders had assembled quickly. They knew what this was about. When the flotilla reached Passada they would need a plan of action, and now was the time to formulate one.
The room was silent as they waited for the meeting to begin.

"Ten-hut!" Someone shouted, and everyone snapped to attention as Richard walked into the room, followed by Colonel Strayer.
"As you were." Richard said, taking his place at the head of the table, remaining standing as he placed a PADD down on the desk. "In roughly thirteen hours, we will be arriving at Padassa station, where we will assume our role as the garrison of Padassa in support of the Klingon forces and the Erassian units already there."
"I suspect you'll all be wanting your marching orders." Richard said, looking at everyone, then activating the holo-projector in the middle of the desk to bring up the holo-graphic representation of the station. "Charlie Company will hold the command decks here..." Richard said, and the upper decks flashed in accord to his vocal statement.
"Understood, General," zh'Thania replied with a curt nod of acknowledgment. It was rumored that she had come from a long line of military officers dating back to the Andorian Imperial Guard. Her reputation in battle long preceded her.
"Dog Company will hold the engineering section on the lower decks here." Richard said, and the lower sections flashed.
"It will be done, sir," S'Valak said in an expected Vulcan monotone. For years Spiers had marveled at how efficient the Vulcan soldiers had been in combat. In fact, he had even taken up learning some of the easier suppression techniques from S'Valak himself over the past year or so.
"Fox will be holding the residential sections in the middle of the station, here." Richard said, and the mid-section flashed.
Korgath grinned widely at the thought of the coming battle and replied, "It will be a good day to die, General!"
"Lastly, Easy Company will be in reserve and ready to deploy rapidly where necessary." Richard said. "I will be joining Easy Company personally, and Colonel Strayer will be co-ordinating marine operations with Major Westbourne in command."
Looking around at the company commanders, Richard then said; "Any questions?"
Sharpe's last statement caused Captain Spiers' breath to catch in his throat. The general would be joining Easy? That put a good deal more into an already stressful situation for the young Captain. The man prayed being responsible for such an important, high-profile flag officer would not distract him (or his men) from their objectives.
Finally he cleared his throat and spoke up, "Sir, if we outnumber so the Klingon and Erassian garrison by so many, would it not be more practical for them to work in support of us, rather than the other way around?"
"Ideally, yes." Richard said. "However, diplomacy is a fickle mistress, and as far as the diplomatic service is concerned, we are going in to support the Klingon & Erassian militaries in the defense of their station. Our orders are to give both the Klingon's and the Erassian Guard our full and complete support."
"Yes, sir," Spiers said, even though he thought it ridiculous that such diplomatic matters were taking precedence over military strategy. Diplomacy belonged in capitol buildings, not the field of battle. "Easy'll get it done, sir."
"I have no doubt of that, Captain." Richard said. "Any further questions?"
The group responded in a chorus, "Sir, no, sir."
"Alright, get your troops sorted out and squared away." Richard said. "Dismissed."
"I have no doubt of that, Captain." Richard said. "Any further questions?"
