Unity - Rangi
Four hours of hard work saw cargo bay 3 transformed into a
marines barracks and when Dick Winters reported to Captain
Spiers,he was assigned to Easy Company and told that they
would be deployed in two days.Within the hour he gave a
briefing to his men, outling their purpose at Padassa. Later
he talked to Gunnery Sergeant Randleman who realized the
young officer was nervous in his new position.
General Sharpe was less than pleased to have another visit
from Lt. Mumacik but ended up quoting rules and regulations
as well.Richard used his rank in his efforts to gain the
upper hand but Mumacik was unswayed despite Richards promise
to file charges against him for Disrespectful Conduct
towards a Superior officer and Insubordination.
Later, Mumacik filed charges with the JAG department himself
concerning Cortez and his unauthorised entry to the cargo
bay.
Natalia was struggling to staff the Rapier when she was
informed of another change of plan that would make matters
worse. Pazla had been reassigned to Padassa, leaving Rapier
short of an XO.
Rangi welcomes T'Vel back to Unity as Deputy CMO.
General Sharpes and his teams made their way to Padassa.
Sharpe outlined his plans and despite protests, insisted on
accompanying Easy Company.
Trent watched the Magellan task group leave Unity, wishing
that he could have had command of a ship.Later he visited
his brother Rick and disclosed that he was having problems
in his marriage.
Giella arrived at Padassa and with Shane met Interpreter
Hudra and Ambassador Sa'Kara.. The meeting went well and
afterwards Shane tolf Giella she was appointed to be the
Intel advisor and that she was to check out the new special
unit and to make them aware that no violation of federation
law would be tolerated.
Nicholas Angel was gathering the rest of his team. This time
he went in search of an old friend and colleague Simon Drake
who, though not best pleased to be selected, agreed to join
him. Now all that was left to find was his tactian.
Rangi left Martin in Lauras care and beamed aboard the
Quasar with Bren.
Anya talked to Gustav following his release from the Brig
and gave him advice on any future fights the discussed
missile capabilties.
Chisulo met Alecto who wanted to know the Federations
military goals for the war.Chisulo pointed out that the
politicians would have the final say. Alecto hoped they
would take notice of the militarys advice.

- Logging Guidelines

Logging:
The weekly logging deadline is at Midnight (12:00AM/00:00) GMT/UTC (19:00 EST); all logs received after the deadline will be counted for the following week. If you are pressed for time and would like a log to count for the previous week, but it is sent after the deadline, please send an email to the command team when you send the log so that we can make the corrections.
Please remember that all MAJOR plot changes need to be cleared with the command staff before a log goes through! You can do this by sending the command staff (chimera-command@ucip.org ) a log labeled with "Draft" tagged to the subject line. We'll typically let you know if it's approved within 24 to 48 hours, or tell you what might need to be modified before it's sent to the listserv.
When using other characters in your logs, please keep in mind that person's characteristics. Character information can be found on the UCIP website or the USS Chimera website (under CREW - just click on the Star Trek symbol next to the character's name). If you're still unsure how to interact with a character, then privately mail the person
involved, and I'm sure they'll be willing to help.
Conversely, if you feel that your character is being portrayed incorrectly by someone please contact them to try to work out an agreeable solution. Just keep in mind when logging to treat other characters the way you'd like them to treat you - with the respect due to any member of Starfleet who is a specialist in their field.
If you think your log may be going out of bounds, then please ask! If you are having problems finding things to write about or would just like some help with your log, please contact your department head or the command team. Remember, you don't always have to log about things relating to the main plot - logs that develop your character's
personality are encouraged! We're eager to help if you're having trouble; just email the command team (chimera-command@ucip.org).

New Cadets are given two (2) weeks upon joining to observe the sim. After the initial observation period, Cadets and other crew are required to post at least one log per week (unless on excused or on LOA).
Promotion is based upon quality and regularity of logging, among other
factors All promotions after Lieutenant Commander require review and
approval by Starfleet Command. For a complete breakdown of the promotion policy, please visit the Chimera's website.
