Athena walked on to the bridge shortly after the yellow alert was signaled. {Well, seems I didn't forget how to get here} she thought as she moved a bit closer to the view screen. {And I don't feel totally out of place here... that's good.}
"Commander Wellington?" Rojac's voice broke the silence from behind her. "Would you care to explain what on the viewscreen you find to be so interesting?" She turned to see the Captain in the center seat wearing a rather inquisitive look. Apparently he had been watching her since her arrival, and had found her sauntering toward the starfield quite, well, odd. "Take your seat, Commander." He said with a wave toward the chair to his left.
Athena opted not to answer the question about her behavior but inwardly was glad that she didn't feel adrift from what was going on. She took her seat and remain attentive.
Rojac spoke to her in a hushed voice, to avoid the stray glances from the busied bridge crew. "Are you feeling okay, Commander? You seem rather... distant."
"That's good to hear." Rojac sighed, and directed his attention back toward the streaming starfield before him.
"Is there anything you need specifically from me this minute," she asked more out of politeness then a need to be doing something... or maybe just to get rid of the few curious glances that kept falling their direction.
"Perhaps." Rojac crossed his arms. "Commander Trzetrzelewska is down in the brig interrogating our romulan guest, who has made a rather... unbelievable claim. Your telepathy is more advanced than the good XO's, see if our guest is being truthful about his alliances. I find it hard to believe a disciple of Surak would get so high in the Tal Shiar to be placed in clandestine operations."
"Not at this time, Commander." Rojac replied, his gaze fixed back on the viewscreen. "I'm just waiting to hear from Captain Xerxes now."
