=/\= Deck 13 - Hangar Bay 1 (Upper Level), USS Chimera - C =/\=
Ianto (NPC) entered the hangar bay looking for Major Xerxes to see if she or her pilots needed anything in the form of materials which he could send a request to Sgt Drake (NPC) or power which he could to. Looking around he was impressed with the size of the hangar bay this was his first time being in this area of the ship he had been on this deck but that was just to deal with an issue with the computer core.
Anya meanwhile was arm deep in the avionics of a Lancer trying to extract a faulty optronics board. The annoying thing was it was a component that shouldn't have gone wrong...not for another year or so at least. The board was sticking and she had to apply a bit of force to get it out. "Mala fudra!" She swore from effort as she ripped out the board. Examining it in the light of the cargo bay it was fairly obvious it was toasted beyond practical usage. She tossed the crispy board to a nearby tech "Replace that with one of the spares otherwise Lancer Eight's gonna have a real short sortie and run diagnostics on the same board in the other Lancers."
As he continued his journey through the hangar bay he was hoping he was getting closer to an office or some sort of gathering place he was noticing some more deck crews deciding to stop one of them to ask where the Major was but before he could do that he heard a voice behind him. Spinning around to see who it was Ianto got a little nervous for some reason the areas that he usually never went felt awkward mainly because it felt like he was intruding.
Anya was busy using a rag trying to remove oil from her hands. It was odd no matter how advanced the system there was always a need for grease when it came to moving parts. It was then that Anya noticed a young officer wandering about with a yellow collar on his uniform. He was most likely from Ops rather than Engineering due to the fact he wasn't sticking his head into an open panel or analyzing something technical. The pips on his collar gave away his rank. "Something I can help you with Leftenant?"

"Well that'll depend on your answer ma'am." He said with a straight face, "I've been sent here to see if flight ops needed anything before we get underway on the mission?" He asked taking a few steps closer to the Major so they wouldn't need to be shouting across the hangar.
"It's Major not Ma'am...I work for a living. My Wing has one crucial demand but I very much doubt its one Ops can fulfill, we need solid intel rather than this piecemeal crap we're being given. As I doubt that's available, we'll settle for enough power for the forcefields, tractor beams and catapults. I'm hoping heat and air com as standard in that package." Anya paused a minute before saying more. "Other than that we're fine. Have you heard anything about how your department head is doing?"
"Sorry Major." Ianto said, "as for the intel like you said operations is probably the last place to ask, but for the power we can definitely help you out there." He added getting to why he came down here for, "we'll need a few hours to look through the logs and see what we can give you and yes heat, air and COMM is always included in that package." Ianto said. "As for MCapt Reese last we've heard that they figured out what was causing the headaches and they're just working on how to control them." Ianto said.
"Well Asprin's always a good start. As long as she's feeling better that's what matters. Anything else I can sign off on or was that business for today?" Anya said still scrubbing away at her hands with the rag.
"I'll just need you to sign this so when we get the power that you do need we can put it where you need it without contacting you." Ianto said handing her the PADD seeing that it would be a waste of time to contact her before the power transfer could be made.
Anya took the padd scanned it briefly then signed it. "Here you go. I may have been a bit busy if you tried to call during the battle...you know getting shot at and so on."
"Thank you Major and don't hesitate to call if you need anything." Ianto said taking the PADD and heading out of the flight bay thinking to himself that it wasn't has bad as he thought it would be speaking to the Major.
