== Bridge, RIS Kuulam =

In that very instant Talek could see with own eyes that Starfleet employed no cowards … as he saw the DA charging directly wit max impulse. Phasers hit the Kuulam and the ship shook again.

"Retreat!" called Talek.

== USS D'Artagnan =

Finally, Moïra was back in control of her own ship. She eyed the Warbird turning around, obviously trying to flee. She knew she was not going to let this happend. However, Moïra got into a moral dilemma. Destroying a weaker vessel after a fierce fight and destroying every secrets it holds, or trying to disable it, take prisoners and seize the
warbird, for further studies. The second choice seemed more appealing for Moïra.

"Commander Blitz, supervise a boarding party, we will attempt to take POW's.", she ordered her #1. Moïra turned to Klein and looked at him coldly. "Aim for the shielding system and disable it. When it is down, disable the propulsion and engage tractor beam. I want to bring back something home...", she said.

Moïra sat back down on her command chair, while Blitz headed to the Transporter deck. Moïra had a strong feeling that this will make such of an impact on the current battle.

== Bridge, RIS Kuulam =

"Direct hits to our shield generators!" cried the Amei'Saehne (TAC) Officer. "Shields down to 30% and degrading rapidly" "Evasive maneuvers!" called Talek and added: "Focus
all fire on their bridge. IF we can destroy their command centre, they shall stay crippled and dead in waters".

Turning towards a Afwe'Saehne (Engineering) officer in the back are of his bridge: "How long since we can use the cloak again?"

The Afwe'Saehne (Engineering) officer gulped. It was not an uncommon situation for a Romulan Leigh (CO) to kill an officer who brought him bad news … "Leigh … the cloaking device is damaged beyond repair … maybe if we could make it to a star base, then maybe, but here and now…" his voice faded as he saw the face of his CO.

"Get out of my sight!" Talek yelled and turned back to see the main screen. "Where is our support?" he asked.

== USS D'ARTAGNAN =

Moïra was watching, as the D'Artagnan was hitting the Kuulam again, and again, and again. With obvious reasons, Moïra knew the warbird wouldn't hold any much longer. The Commander stood up from her chair and walked towards forward, to be in the centre of her crew, somesort of a way to thank them.

Moïra turned to Klein and nodded. "Disable their shields and get the away team outta here.", she barked. Klein tapped twice and two torpedos headed directly at the shield generator, and, as suspected, the Kuulam's shield went down.

"Shield of the warbird are down.", Klein reported.

"Energize!", Moïra ordered.

== Deck 5, RIS Kuulam =

The away team, composed of Blitz, the Chief Security Officer, 7 security officers, 2 engineering assistants, 2 medical / marine personnal and a dozen of Marines appeared in the middle of a hall, filled with smoke.

 

"Recce!", Blitz screamed. Instantely, the Marines started clearing the area. Blitz was protected in the back by 3 security officers and 4 were leading in front of him. All of them were equipped with Phaser Rifle Type III, the standard issue for Starfleet Marines.

"Find their turbolift, we have to get on the bridge.", Blitz shouted, as they were heading towards the front of the ship.

====== Bridge, RIS Kuulam =====

"Boarding parties on deck 5" cried the Amei'Saehne (TAC) officer.

Talek spat on the ground and barked: "Send security to clean the Starfleet mess down there ..."

"Yes, leigh" replied the Amei'Saehne (TAC) officer but suddenly added: "There is an Another Warbird decloaking just behind us". With some joy in his face he added:
"They are activating their weapons". Like everyone else on the bridge, he was sure that the time for revenge is about to come.

Amei'Saehne (TAC) voice suddenly changed into one full of terror ... "they are charging US!!!"

== USS D'Artagan ==

 

Moïra was looking at the viewscreen nonchalentely. She was overly concerned about the health of her crew. After all, they were leading an away team mission that is potentially deadly. Moïra wasn't a overly good tactician, yet. She did not know the Romulans tactics, except for the pretty basic stuff.

 

Out of that silence, which the crew was observing, mimicking Moïra's state of mind, Klein shouted.

"Ma'am.. I am receiving a message from the TaskForce Command. We are ordered to remove our away team from the warbird at once!"

 

Moïra looked back at Klein. She sighs loudly. "Bring them home...", she added.

 

"All back home, Ma'am", Klein concluded.

 

== Empty Space ==

RIS Galae's fist fired from all phaser banks and hit the Kuulam with all strength. The weakened hull of the Kuulam could not take this massive beating without considerable
damage ... and the Kuulam was destroyed in a single huge explosion. Orders were orders, and 10th Galae command issued an order to "leave no prisoners" and retreat. Not taking
any notice about the Stargleet ship, RIS Galae's fist cloaked again and disappeared

== USS D'Artagnan ==

 

Moïra saw the flash from the viewscreen. The D'Artagnan shook slightly upon the explosion.

 

"What the hell was that?", she asked, geniounly not knowing that answer.

 

Moïra looked at Klein. Klein shrugged, in the dark himself.

"I picked up signal from a Warbird decloaking, destroying down our target and then recloaking...", Klein claimed.

Blitz entered the bridge during that explanation. "No need to sweat it", he said. "Leave no prisoniers doctrine...", he coldly added. Blitz sat back on his chair and looked at Moïra...

 

The Commanding Officer looked back at the helm. "Well, get us back at SB234 and send report of our damage to the Fleet Yard..."

As the ship moved left 105 degree and engaged its full impulse, Moïra slightly turned to Blitz and muttered: "You knew about this?"
