== Starbase 234, Senior Officer's Lounge ==
Vlimar was sitting by himself at the corner of the lounge. He choose that place mostly because it had a great view of the Viewport and that no one else could sit there to interfere with his vision. Vlimar was sipping his Earl Grey tea, reading the specs of the Starbase and it's history. SB: UNITY was a great piece of architecture, for a space structure. Vlimar like the fact that it was located in a very volatile sector of the galaxy. It was, Vlimar though, a good way to stay on high alert, feeling almost at war 24/7.
Also, Vlimar was thrilled to see his OPS department. He was scheduled by the Engineering team to take a first peek at it at 1500 hrs. It wasn't completed yet, but was getting there. And, to sugarcoat this, Cmdr Rogers asked Vlimar if he had anything he would like to see. The first though of Vlimar couldn't be written in a PG-13 log, but then, he realized Rogers was talking about his Office. Vlimar emitted a set of demands that was simple and short. So, he was expecting surprises.
Vlimar looked at his chrono and realize it was time to visit. Vlimar downed his tea, grabbed his PADD and started walking out of the lounge, towards the soon-to-be-open OPS Deck. Without realizing it, Vlimar was walking at a very fast pace. He was anxious to see it.
== Starbase 234, Operations Deck ==
Vlimar came in from the turbolift and stopped dead in his tracks. He was amazed. The room was huge, all open and with probably 40 consoles. There was a huge holoprojected in the middle of the room and smaller one, here and there in the room. Vlimar started walking around, looking at the design. It was, as he asked, simple, but efficent. The walls were made so they were projectors, where different teams can follow different situations. The ceiling was adaptable to be a 3D capable, in case of briefings and such. Vlimar then started looking around for an enclosed area. Suddently, he saw a door, written: OFFICE OF THE STRATEGIC OPERATIONS ADVISOR. Vlimar smiled and entered.
== Starbase 234, Office of the SOA ==
Vlimar walked in the empty room. There was no furniture, but, yet again, he knew that it would be perfect. A viewscreen on the main wall was showing the layout Rogers ordered his team to build. Vlimar smiled as he realized that Rogers knew exactely what he wanted. Only left the actual desk, that Vlimar wanted old Presidental style. He liked wood and leather, it was old style for some, but just right for him.
Vlimar exited the office. He looked around again and smiled. 2 more days, and his team will start working on their deck, instead of being everywhere in the base, taking any station they could find. He knew that he had 3 officers working out of the Engineering deck, one working in sickbay... and another in the brig. The workstations were a scare in this station, mostly because all department were closed for improvement.
Vlimar started walking to Sickbay, to tour his officers to know their status and, to be honest, talk about what he just saw..
