[Bridge - Deck 1 - USS Chimera-C]
The Chimera took care of the remaining Breen Warships well enough. The Quantum torpedo volleys decimated the organic hull plating, all the while sustaining minimal damage to the Chimera herself. MCap Reese reported only minor damage to the deflector shield emitters, to which damage control teams were already being deployed. The Chimera set a course toward the dead-in-water freighters to beam in security teams, while the Eagle-B and the Prometheus swarmed in on the planetary installations.
Rojac nodded and tapped his combadge, "Bridge to Jardan. Are you ready, Lieutenant?"
+Aye, sir.+ Jardan replied over the comm. +I've got six teams ready for deployment, on your mark.+
"All teams are on the freighters." Jade reported after transporting the security teams to the freighters and confirming that all made it. She then started a program she designed that would keep track of everyone and if their signal was lost it would try and locate it itself and then alert who ever was at the console.
"Captain, Commander!" The Efrosian Science Chief, LtCmdr Ra-Zerphimi called from his station. "Five Romulan ships dropped out of warp outside of the planet's gravity well, due to the distortion torpedoes."
"What class, Science?" Bren asked in reply.
"They appear to be troop transports, sir." The white haired officer replied.
"What's their ETA?" Rojac asked.
"At full impulse they would enter transporter range for the planet's surface in ten minutes." Zerphimi reported.
"They're making bombing runs planet side." Jade said going through reports making sure she had the correct information.
"Then we'll have to intercept." Roajc said. "Dior plot an intercept course and engage. Best speed."
"Aye, sir." The half-bajoran half-betazoid Lieutenant replied over her shoulder. "Weapons range in three minutes."
"I'm getting a report from the Magellan; they're under attack by two Romulan ships and have evacuated the Rapier," Bren reported. "I'm going to tell them to hold their ground as long as they can to delay those two birds."
