= Holosuite 1, USS Chimera C =
Ian (NPC) was standing in holosuite 1 waiting for the newly arrived Boatswain a 2Lt Melonni (NPC) she had arrived late last night. "Morning Lt." Ian said nodding to the Orion, sorry for getting you to work so soon but I want to see you in action before we had off on a new mission." Ian said.
"It's alright Cmdr." Livia said giving a quick salute to the Cmdr knowing that he was the aCOps while MCapt Reese was off at a conference. "Will I have anyone else with me?" She asked.
"Yes I'll be playing as the Commanding Officer but all other teams will be holograms." Ian said seeing that this would be good practice for him as well. "Let's begin." Ian said, "computer start program Ops Training 001." Ian said and within seconds the holosuite changed to a Nova Class bridge.
Livia walked over to the auxiliary Ops control where most of the damage control is dealt with along with rerouting EPS relays and power where they need it to be. The holographic tactical officer reported two Romulan scouts decloaked and charging weapons.
"Helm evasive maneuvering pattern gamma 13." Ian said to the CHelm the helm officer initiated the pattern the Nova class vessel lurched forward and then veered to the right and then sharply banked into the the closest scout ship. "Tactical fire phasers on my mark." Ian said waiting for the perfect moment.
Just then the second Romulan scout ship made a flanking move and fired their disruptors hitting the Nova Class on port side, "minor damage to the shields. Shields holding at 96%." Livia said from her console.
"Tactical fire aft phasers targeting the second Romulan ship and fire forward phasers." Ian said watching the view screen. Ian watched as the 8 phaser arrays fired in unison striking the Romulan ship.
"Romulan shields down to 87% and the other ship shields down to 95%." Tactical said as he re-adjusted the targeting system as he waited for the order to fire again.
Seconds later both scout ships launched their plasma torpedo weapon both of them striking direct hits one on the aft section and then one of the port side where the disruptor fire struck. "Shields at 45%." Livia said rerouting power to the port side shields.
"Fire phasers at will." Ian said watching what Livia was doing from the command chair he was impressed at the speed that she was moving at rerouting power. Tactical again lashed out with the Type X phaser emitters causing moderate damage to the Romulan scouts.
Half an hour later the program ended with one of the Romulan ships destroyed the other one crippled and the Nova crippled but able to retreat. "Excellent work Lt." Ian said.
"Thank you sir." Livia said as they exited the holosuite. Livia was happy that the impromptu training session went will and that she performed well.
"Alright you've the rest of the day off but tomorrow I want you to run some damage control exercises I'll forwarded you the damage control personnel manifest." Ian said heading to the turbolift to head to the bridge to get some work done.
"Yes sir." Livia said heading to her quarters to read up on some things and look over the Operations department manifest seeing how she was also doubled as a AOps.
