Nicholas had recruited his team and had just stepped off the transport ship to Starbase Unity. He looked around the busy docking ring as civilians made their way to the promenade and officers and NCOs to report in for duty. He wasn't quite sure where Delta would be based to keep them well hidden and wasn't about to ask anyone like a rookie. Instead he thought he would casually stop by Antiquus to see if the undercover NCOs of his unit had settled into their new antiques shop. Arriving on the promenade he quickly scouted the shop and headed through the crowds to find it. It was a small shop in the corner of the promenade that was now full of boxes as the 'staff' was unpacking it. Janus Valkor turned and spotted Nicholas and gave him a friendly wave. It appeared that at least this half of the operation was successfully being implemented. Brix and Chu'lak were also unpacking boxes at the other side of the shop making up the undercover trio. This meant that Simon Drake and Nihlus were somewhere on the station, probably settling into their respective staterooms and waiting for Nicholas to show up and get things moving. Happy with how the shop was progressing he moved away and went in search of the one person that could help him find out where he was supposed to be basing a highly covert intelligence team. Heading to a console on the wall he tapped it to find the location of the Fleet Intelligence Advisor he discovered something somewhat annoying; they were currently on Padassa Station.
Luckily for Nicholas he was resourceful and within moments of checking the station layout he found a small office in the depths of the station's central hub… deck 500, junction C… the home of Intel's training division. As he mapped his route mentally he headed through the promenade corridors and passed the security checkpoints into the central hub. There he took a turbolift to the very bottom of the station and entered the dark and somewhat dingy area that was his new home. "Oh… just lovely" he said to himself as the sliding doors to the small office opened. There were three desks with terminals on and a door to the left that lead to the training Holodeck. Across the back the entire wall was lined with cabinets containing PADDs on training programmes and intelligence files. Nicholas had received a small briefing note from Intelligence informing him of a few secrets that the office had to offer. Walking to his console he tapped in a command line and the wall of cabinets slid to the right revealing a Jefferies tube hatch. Moving to the hatch he opened it and climbed through into a space that was well hidden from the map and using the latest in holo and masking technology made it completely hidden from view. Entering the secret chamber he was faced with a room that looked like a standard astrometrics lab, the primary purpose of which was to provide a way for the team to plot missions. The room also contained a transporter pad which allowed them to beam down to the planet completely unnoticed due to masking technology and a secret armoury of equipment. Activating the central hub computer he smiled as he read a message from task force command who naturally knew of the secret room. 'Under no circumstances is the technology located here to be taken into the main station'. Happy with the layout of the room and everything in it he stepped back through to the main office and sealed it up again. Tapping his combadge it was time to get this show on the road "Corporal Nihlus and Corporal Drake please report location zero for training assignment one' he said slowly. Heading out of the office he locked the doors to open only to his identification code and made his way to the transporter to head down to the planet.
Sometime Later…
Arriving at the harbor Nicholas tapped in the entry code and opened the iron gates to a storage container. Making sure no-one noticed he slipped inside and sealed the door again. As soon as he was inside his combadge flashed blue and the floor below him begun to sunk down. White lights that covered the entire ceiling illuminated one row at a time until a massive vast area was revealed. In this room was an unmarked shuttle, an armoury of equipment and a console similar to the one on the Starbase. Heading over to the briefing area he waited for the rest of his team to arrive. An order had also been placed with the antiques shop… code for them to also attend the covert meeting.
