As Jade finished up her first class she stayed behind to speak with Louis (NPC), "so how did you think they did?" Jade asked her aide that she also learned that he's working on becoming a instructor at the academy.
"They know how to think outside of the box but need to do it faster." Louis said pulling up some of the video, "like here the LtJg did anticipate something and had a plan but was uncertain on how to start the plan." Louis added as he allowed the video to continue to play.
"I agree." Jade said looking up at the video, "I think we just need to do simulation after simulation and just drill in the class room." Jade said stopping the video. "We'll hold class not tomorrow but the next day." Jade added needing a day or so to go over all the footage.
"Yes ma'am." Louis said picking up his materials and notes that he'll compile tonight and send over to Jade so she could look over them and then make a lesson plan with what she has and what Louis gave her, "well see you then." Louis said smiling.
Jade nodded as she watched the young Ensign head out of the class room on his way out he gave a nod to a female Andorian who looked familiar to Jade. It couldn't be Jade thought to herself, "S'hae?" Jade said loud enough for the Andorian hear.
The Andorian looked up and smiled, "how could you forget a face like this after the things we've been through." She said smiling as she walked down the steps to where Jade was seeing. "I mean for gods sake I was your Platoon Sergeant when we were dealing with the Gorn incursions on Cestus III." She added with a big grin she was one of the few that enjoyed fighting the Gorn.
"Damn it is you." Jade said smiling walking forward to greet her old Platoon Sergeant and friend, "I see at least you've been promoted." Jade said remembering the few times where she had to connivence JAG not press charges after a nights of drinking. "I'm assuming that you got your drinking under control." Jade said.
"Yes and no." S'hae (NPC) said smiling, "and I got promoted shortly after you left and joined the "Squids"." S'hae said with a look of why did you do that on her face.
"Hey lets not get into that now I had my reasons and I'm sticking with them." Jade said, "but I'll never forget what you did for me on that last incident." Jade said getting very serious.
"I know you won't and plus all the times you've saved me from JAG we should be even." She said grinning and bringing her into a embrace. "It's been too long." S'hae said.
"I know." Jade said as they continued to embrace after a few more seconds they disengaged the embrace, "so what brings you to UNITY?" Jade asked.
"Well I've got some news for you Sgt Vera Drake has been transferred SFMC wants her back to become a drill instructor which leaves the Chimera short a Quartermaster." S'hae said taking a breath and heading Jade a PADD, "anyways I've been acting as a supply officer for the 5th Platoon on a remote base near the badlands and I've been wanting a transfer and SFMC finally agreed and transferred me to the Chimera." S'hae said smiling.
"Ah the Badlands." Jade said remembering a couple of her friends that joined the SFMC were stationed there on ships and remote bases most of them hated it but like any good Marine you put up with it. "Well it's going to be sad to see Drake go she's been one of the better QM's I've had." Jade said, "but I'm glad you're the one they've decided to replace her." Jade said smiling.
"Same here." S'hae said smiling, "also I was thinking that I could bunk with you until the Chimera gets back." S'hae said with those same eyes she would use to connivence Jade to go out celebrating after a successful mission while they were on Cestus III.
"Sure plus it'll give us a chance to catch up. I'll meet you there in 5 I need to get some things done." Jade said giving S'hae a card to her quarters.
"Thanks." S'hae said smiling she then turned and headed out of the class room and to Jade's temp quarters.
