Another RECORD logging week guys! Awesome job! (ISD Command better be reading this. :P)
This week the Chimera-B makes the ultimate sacrifice and the battle of SB 234 should come to an end. From the ashes a new Chiemra will be born, and our sim platform and direction will make a significant change. We're moving to become more universal, more creative, and more encompassing with our reach. I ahve a good feeling that we are getting there.

Greetings everyone,
I must say I think this has been one of the most exciting weeks we've
ever had since I've been on the Chimera. We are in the middle of a
massive battle and witnessing the final throws of the Chimera-B. There
have been so many quality logs that have gone out over the list that I
can hardly keep up and they've made for wonderful reading.

TF and EA and NPCs: Win the battle of SB 234!
LAST WEEK:
Bridge: More JLs. There's a battle to fight.
Eng: We need shields back ASAP! Work with ops to get this done.
Sec: Have us be boarded, and defend them. Strategic areas of the ship they may be after include: Main Engineering, the Bridge, Impulse control, Operations Control Room, TF situation room, etc. Your choice. Let command know which your having them go after.
Med: We're at battle. Cargo bays are seeing an influx of patients and power is going down. It's your ship, move some of those patients to sickbay and get them back to duty. Yay! Stress!
TF: the Commodore is on the way, but there's a battle to command in the meantime. Adjust to the new scenario with the development of the shield inversion beam.
E.A. 2nd Fleet/Qashqai: Book it. Things are getting hairy.

The weekly logging deadline is at Midnight (12:00AM/00:00) GMT/UTC (19:00 EST); all logs received after the deadline will be counted for the following week. If you are pressed for time and would like a log to count for the previous week, but it is sent after the deadline, please send an email to the command team when you send the log so that we can make the corrections.
Please remember that all MAJOR plot changes need to be cleared with the command staff before a log goes through! You can do this by sending the command staff (chimera-command@ucip.org ) a log labeled with "Draft" tagged to the subject line. We'll typically let you know if it's approved within 24 to 48 hours, or tell you what might need to be modified before it's sent to the listserv.
When using other characters in your logs, please keep in mind that person's characteristics. Character information can be found on the UCIP website or the USS Chimera website (under CREW - just click on the Star Trek symbol next to the character's name). If you're still unsure how to interact with a character, then privately mail the person
involved, and I'm sure they'll be willing to help.

New Cadets are given two (2) weeks upon joining to observe the sim. After the initial observation period, Cadets and other crew are required to post at least one log per week (unless on excused or on LOA).
