The week kicks off with Alecto paying a visit to Unity's very own Jazz Bar the dimly lit Blue Note Bar after the assassination of Lernen to get some information from the ::cough:: barman. Alecto is visited in the bar by a young ensign from Unity's medical department who brings Alecto her katana back. Jade, Dexter and Baco go over ideas about how to break the Romulan's tactics of jamming Federation communications. Rangi oversees a meeting between Jade and Tommy which doesn't exactly go smoothly. Newly graduated Crewman Theodesia reflects a bit on her appearance and heritage whilst on the transport to Unity. Athena send a report of her concerns to Cropa. Alecto and Mnemosyme meet by chance and it seems neither is what the other expects. Shane and Vlimar meet to discuss the status of the war and battle plans but are interupted by the news of Lernen's assassination. A small child named Rowan sneaks aboard Unity but it isn't long before the long arm of the law arrives...seems they're improving! Rick discovers a secret of the Detector but just what is it? Vlimar has a dream about spending time with a bald headed man (...well each to their own) but is woken by the news that Chimera is under attack. The bold bridge crew sends a warbird to meet its maker (somewhere in Taiwan I think). Bren gives Rick permission to take the Jameson to look for the Detector. Rick is given an away team and after boarding the Detector a deadline to finish his investigations. MaiKai recieves an unexpected visit from the Nenon Ambassador. Jade visits Anya to discuss the Jammer Breaker her department is working on. Chisulo beams aboard his Klingon contact and preparations are made to head for the Narendra System. Previous to her run in with Alecto, Mnemosyne undergoes a battery of tests from T'Vel.
So what are the Romulans up to in Klingon Space? What is the Detector's hidden secret? And is Chimera-C's first ordeal over yet? Find out next week on the continuing adventures of USS Chimera!

almost tripping up on the stairs leading down into the bar.The barman placed her salad down in front of her and said,

disappointed that you won't be in tonight."Alecto shrugged nonchalantly taking a rag down off the bar
surface and wiped down the blade of the katana removing the

done with that I'll make my decision and if we get the go
ahead from the higher ups we'll start on the programming and
development of the craft or satellite." Jade said standing
up picking up both PADDs and her coffee and heading back to
her office, so she could finish up the shift schedule.
Dexter looked at Baco like saying: "See? I told you". He
then shrugged his shoulders and thought that it's good not
to have to decide. The life of an junior officer was quite

Just a minor point ..but..........
"That could work, but wouldn't that just mean that we would
need to risk lives to man it.?" Baco said and asked at the
same time, "I mean with a satellite it can be unmanned and
we could put like a small cloaking device or a small shield
generator and we wouldn't have to risk some people to man
the shuttle or fighter." Baco said thinking that making
someone man something that has a good chance of being
destroyed.

Vlimar looked up, yawned. "Do we have any supporting unit
for the attack?", he asked. The Lieutenant looked down on
his PADD, then back up at Vlimar. "I dunno...", replied the
Lieutenant.
"Are you kidding me?", Vlimar said. "You are supposed to be
Shift Supervisor. Send the D'Artagnan, they should be in the
area by now.", he added.The Lieutenant nodded and walked away. "Lieutenant, next
time you wake me up, asking me to do your job, I will not
calm down.", coldly replied Vlimar.
As the Lieutenant walked away, Vlimar returned to his
quarters. He looked at his bed, realizing there was no point
to go back. He was on shift in about 2 hours. Vlimar walked
to the replicator, asking for a tightly pressed espresso.
Waiting for his drink, Vlimar yawned again, then his eyes
opened widely. "The Chimera is under attack!", he said.
Vlimar ran out of his quarters, heading to the Operations

Any officer who is Absent Without Leave (0) for two or more consecutive
weeks is considered "On Report." Crewmen on report should email the command staff immediately to explain their absence (too much to do in RL is a fine excuse) and say when they anticipate being able to log again in the future.
