[Bridge - Deck One - USS Chimera - C ]
Captain Cropa Rojac entered the bridge at 0500 hours to relieve the Officer of the Watch. It was an early start, considering the late night he had reading over the various reports and writing the consolation letters to the next of kin to his deceased crewmen. Rojac had grown used to the perpetual sense of fatigue that plagues those in command positions. There is always something to keep a commanding officer awake, worried, and busy.
Rojac relieved the officer of the watch, who left the bridge to catch some much needed rest of their own. The Captain assumed his seat, and called for the standard start of watch report. All stations reported in at a state of readiness. The tactical officer reported in that the Reinforcements were in-bound and only ten minutes away from arrival. He asked the officer to relay that information to the D'Artagan and inform them of their departure upon their arrival.
Following that, Rojac began reading in the different departmental status reports that were streaming in. Engineering had reported in that 95% of the problems reported in during the battle had been fixed by the damage control teams. Operations reported that all systems were running nominally. Tactical and Science were conducting joint investigations of the intelligence from the recent battle. And Medical was doing just fine.
The turbolift doors opened and Lieutenant Rayna Dior entered the room and strode toward her helm console. The gave a short salute to Rojac, "Captain." Rojac nodded in response as he looked up from the reports. "Is our course set, Lieutenant?" He asked.
"Aye sir." She replied. "I'm just awaiting your command." She said as she sat down and pulled up the navigational charts she had prepared.
"Sir," The tactical officer reported, "The Eagle and Explorer have dropped out of warp."
"Good," Rojac said. "Computer, transfer command of this sector to Captain Moira Henry. Authorization Rojac-Alpha-One."
[Order acknowledged. Flotilla command transferred to Captain Henry of the USS D'Artagan. Report dispatched to First Taskforce Command.] The computer replied.
"Lieutenant Dior." Rojac called out. "Let's get out of here. Warp Eight to the Aeran System."
"Course set, sir."
"Engage."
