Heading to the closest unmanned station Gustav called up a list of all
available repair teams, noticed that Alan was on repair team 3 with
two other's, a Cadet and an Ensign ((hope he doesn't give the Ensign
to much bother)) including team 3 there were 9 teams in total, not
enough Kroitzer thought to himself.
Not long after the battle started Gustav received a call from one of
the cargo bays that have been converted to temporary med bays stating
that the power was down immediately contacted Alan.
+taps+ Ensign Kroitzer to Lieutenant Walker +
+taps+ Walker here + was Alan's response still sounding like he had a
grudge against Gustav
+taps+ Power is down in cargo bay 6, we need it back asap + Gustav
ordered in an urgent tone of voice.
+taps+ Aye sir Walker out + was the response ((I guess that Rick must
have told him of my new position))
Gustav also sent team 5 to help Alan get the power back as quick as
they could, if this battle is going to be as bad as he expected then
the med bays will be needed and needed bad.
As the ship was getting pounded by Romulan disrupter and torpedo fire
Gustav was sending the limited supply of repair teams where they were
needed as soon as they became available all the while trying to keep
standing upright as the ship manoeuvred around the battle and from the
shaking of weapons impacts.
Suddenly he heard someone shout "We've just lost shields!" Gustav
said to himself "crap I don't have the teams to help repair them" just
then he heard Rick say that he was on it.
Not long after the shields were lost the ship took a hard hit, there
was an explosion and Gustav was close enough to send him and some
other engineers flying across engineering.
Gustav banged his head hard enough to open a wound on his head during
the fall, with some help from an Ensign he got back on his feet.
With blood pouring down his face Gustav quickly went back to his
console to try and see if any repair teams were done and ready to help
with the shields but unfortunately there wasn't any, then another
shout sounded
"Impulse drive is down!". ((Not enough damn time to sort everything))
Within the space of a few seconds Kroitzer heard another shout this
time coming from Rick, all he said was "ROMULANS"
